The ZD Racing Ball Bearing Replacement Set is the factory-spec bearing refresh kit explicitly bundled for the ZD Racing MT-16 1/16 Brushless Monster Truck drivetrain. Because the MT-16 operates on a high-speed 3S LiPo brushless system capable of 80km/h, these high-precision, metal-shielded ball bearings are strategically sized to minimize friction and prevent heat build-up across different areas of the chassis.
Drivetrain Placement by Bearing Size
Each specific dimension listed in your layout is assigned to a precise rotation hub on the truck to handle high-RPM twisting loads:
    • 14×9×4.5 mm: These large, heavy-duty bearings sit directly on the outer differential outdrive cups / main gear casings. They stabilize the front and rear differential assemblies against chassis flex during hard cornering.
    • 11×7×3 mm: Positioned inside the front steering knuckles / steering cups to support the outer edge of the wheel axles.
    • 10×6×3 mm: Housed in the rear hub carriers / axle seats to ensure the rear wheel axles spin perfectly smoothly without wobbling.
    • 9×5×3 mm: Located on the inner differential input pinion shafts, keeping the central drive shafts perfectly aligned with the diff ring gears.
    • 9×4×4 mm: Primarily used inside the central reduction gear assembly / transmission slip clutch group to support the high-speed brushless motor transfer gears.
