The Tamiya Design Knife (Item No. 74020) is a premium, pen-style hobby knife engineered for high-precision cutting, trimming, and scoring tasks in scale modelling and fine craftwork. Unlike bulkier utility cutters, it features an ultra-sharp, narrow blade angle that allows for exceptional control when navigating tight corners and complex geometries. 
Key Specifications & Features
  • Chassis Design: Features a lightweight, impact-resistant plastic handle styled like a heavy-duty pen.
  • Textured Chuck Grip: Features a knurled metal collar chuck that clamps down securely on the blade shank to completely eliminate blade play or wobbling.
  • Roll-Stop Design: The back end of the handle is moulded into a specialized octagonal shape to stop the knife from accidentally rolling off your workbench.
  • Premium Geometry: Equipped with ultra-fine, 30-degree acute angle blades, allowing for highly detailed micro-cuts that standard 45-degree hobby blades cannot reach.
